A Busy Week

Had a couple of very good quilting days.  Our CL is open now so we welcomed Barbara to Pitch and Stitch and the Medallion workshop - she'd driven all the way here from Lancashire in her motorhome and since Sandra finds coming here from Newbury a challenge - we were all very impressed!

Helene brought in her Mini-Sampler so we could see what all those who sign up for the mini-sampler workshop will be making.  It is fantastic:

It's so impressive but much easier than it looks using the foundation piecing method.  Each block is only about 3" square - brilliant!

Meanwhile calving is well under way on the farm - and the Black Angus and South Devon bulls have produced some lovely calves:















And finally, Mr South Devon, whose formal name is 'Big Jonny' :
named after a local farmer.....
